April 23 & 25, 2026 โ The PPSA Class of 2026 BSPCA cadets concluded their weeklong training with practical assessments conducted in both mock and actual jail settings, facilitated by the BJMP STAR Team, led by ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ ๐๐๐๐. The exercises focused on controlled marksmanship, threat identification, room clearing, and teamwork under pressure, reinforcing muscle memory, tactical discipline, and operational readiness in confined environments within the context of ๐๐๐ข๐ฆ๐ ๐ค๐จ๐๐ฅ๐ง๐๐ฅ ๐๐๐ง๐ง๐๐ (๐๐ค๐).
On the first day, the cadets applied these competencies in an actual jail setting at the new facility of the Biรฑan City Jail Male Dormitory in Biรฑan City, Laguna. This was followed by live-fire exercises on the second day, conducted in a mock jail environment at the SAF Training School, Fort Sto. Domingo, City of Santa Rosa, Laguna.
Key learnings included disciplined trigger control, rapid and sound decision-making, coordinated team movement, and heightened situational awarenessโcore competencies that enable the cadets to respond effectively to dynamic and high-risk scenarios, reinforcing their readiness to perform with precision and accountability in real-world public safety operations.
