Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS / INITIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR ADMISSION
- Must be a natural-born citizen of the Philippines
- Person of good moral character
- Male or Female, and with no parental obligation
- Must be already in uniformed service with the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) and the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP)
- At least two (2) years in service and not more than 28 years of age on the day of the appointment
- Weight not more than five (5) kilograms from the standard weight corresponding to his/her height, age ad sex
- No pending case prior to his/her appointment as FO1/JO1
- Not convicted for an offence or crime involving moral turpitude
GROUNDS FOR MEDICAL DISQUALIFICATIONS
- Defective Visual Perception (color blindness, near sighted / far-sighted with corrective eyeglasses or lens, nystagmus
- Physical deformities example : bowlegged or congenital defects;
- Perforated eardrum, chronic sinusitis, bleeding tendencies, hemorrhoids, hernia (if not treated), varicocele, extensive skin disorders
- History of heart disease, hypertension, asthma PTB, kidney, and liver diseases, epileptic seizure disorders, major operation; communicable diseases
- Full dentures, upper and lower, Cleft lip and palate, Maloclussion, Deformities f the face, Open bite, Tongue-tied, missing teeth, and missing of six (6) posterior / molar teeth
- Tattoos and other brotherhood marks on skin, ear piercing (for male only)
- For females : History of pregnancy; Painful Menstruation
- Any other similar defects which may hinder in the Cadetship Training Program

Submit a duly accomplished application to the Director, Directorate for Human Resource Development (D, DHRD) of Bureau of Fire Protection (for BFP personnel) or Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (for BJMP personnel)
