March 31, 2026 โ The Philippine Public Safety Academy (PPSA) successfully culminated its National Womenโs Month 2026 celebration, honoring the strength and invaluable contributions of women in society.
Anchored on the theme โ๐๐ ๐๐ค๐ง ๐๐๐ฃ๐๐๐ง ๐๐ฆ๐ช๐๐ก๐๐ฉ๐ฎ ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐๐ฃ๐๐ก๐ช๐จ๐๐ซ๐ ๐๐ค๐๐๐๐ฉ๐ฎโ and guided by the sub-theme โ๐๐ฆ๐ข๐ฅ ๐๐ช๐ฌ๐ฆ ๐ต๐ฉ๐ฆ ๐๐ข๐ฃ๐ข๐บ๐ญ๐ข๐ฏ, ๐๐ช๐ญ๐ช๐ฑ๐ช๐ฏ๐ข๐ด,โ the event highlighted the transformative power of women as leaders and catalysts of change in nation-building. It highlighted that todayโs Filipina, like the Babaylan of old, stands at the forefront of service.
The celebration became even more meaningful as the Corps showcased a diverse range of talents through slogan-making, poster-making, infographics, spoken poetry, and singing competitions, reflecting the cadetsโ creativity, critical thinking, and excellence in advocacy. These activities provided a platform for cadets to express their voices on gender equality and inclusivity.
Deepening the significance of the event, everyone willingly took part in a ๐ฃ๐น๐ฒ๐ฑ๐ด๐ฒ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐๐ผ๐บ๐บ๐ถ๐๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐ to ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐จ๐ซ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ฉ๐๐๐๐ฌ ๐ผ๐๐ฉ, also known as the โ๐ฝ๐๐ฌ๐๐ก ๐ฝ๐๐จ๐ฉ๐ค๐จ ๐๐๐ฌ,โ led by ๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ ๐๐๐๐๐, Director, PPSA, reaffirming the Academyโs commitment to safe and inclusive spaces for all. This was followed by the inspiring address of keynote speaker, ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ ๐๐๐๐๐, who honored women as wise and empowered leaders, and emphasized that building a more inclusive and equitable future is a shared responsibility, with men as vital partners in advancing gender equality.
The month of March left a lasting imprint on the Academy as it voiced stories of courage and hope, reaffirming its commitment to advancing gender equality and empowering every Juana and Juan in the service of the nation.
