The Philippine Public Safety Academy ended its 18-day campaign for a VAW-free Philippines through a ZumVAW and the awarding of the winners of the poster and slogan-making contest. The culmination was held at the PRO 4A, Parade Ground on December 12, 2023.
The purpose of the 18-day campaign was not only to raise awareness and promote the empowerment of women in the Philippines but also to promote a just and gender-equal community. Through various activities conducted, skills were showcased, learnings were transferred, and blessings were shared. The campaign serves as a reminder that we all have our roles to play in contributing to a more inclusive and gender-equal society where women’s strength is recognized and celebrated.
The campaign ended, but let us march hand in hand in continuing the advocacy for a VAW-free Philippines!
