April 23, 2025 – The Philippine Public Safety Academy Class of 2026 joined the 3rd Emerging Leaders’ Summit 2025 at the NJMPTI Social Hall, Camp Vicente Lim, Calamba City, Laguna.
CAPT ROZEL P NARAG, MBA, Executive Vice President of GM Third Generation Holdings Corporation, reminded the cadets that “Leadership is about action, intention, and impact. You only live once, but lead with heart and purpose.” His words encouraged cadets to be brave, clear in their goals, and committed to helping others.
Further, MGEN JONJIE C JUGUILON, Chief Engineer of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, shared that “True leadership is selfless and focused on others, not personal gain.” He said every leader is supported by many people—God, family, friends, and mentors. He also stressed that leaders should always prioritize the mission, take care of their team’s well-being, and manage resources wisely.
Lastly, Professor Gerardo Gambala, Leadership Course Director, simply said, “Leaders exist to make people’s lives better.” He reminded everyone that leadership is about serving others, inspiring change, and lifting people.
By the end of the summit, the cadets learned that true leadership means serving with purpose, working with others, and making a positive difference in the lives of those they lead.
