Today, the Philippine Public Safety Academy (PPSA) stands as one with the entire country.
In a simultaneous nationwide kick-off, the PPSA and the National Forensic Science Training Institute (NFSTI) united to launch the 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women (VAW) under the theme, As agencies across the archipelago raised their banners, we raised ours in Calamba City, proving that when the nation moves as one, the message is undeniable.
Spearheaded by an empowered leader, PPSA Director JCSupt Leonalyn O Oloan, the ceremony was defined by solidarity. The officers of ๐ผ๐พ๐ ๐ด (๐ผ๐๐ ๐พ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ฐ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ด๐๐๐๐ข๐ ๐๐๐๐) led the charge, culminating in a historic ๐น๐๐๐๐ ๐พ๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐ฒ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐. In a powerful defining moment, all male participants, from ranking officers to the Cadet Corps, pledged to be protectors of women, never violators.
Amplifying the advocacy, the ๐ฒ๐๐๐๐ ๐ฒ๐๐๐๐ took the stage to perform original songs centered on womenโs empowerment, reminding us that respect is a melody that must be heard in every corner of society.
The unveiling of the ๐พ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ด๐ก๐๐๐๐๐ marks only the beginning. Over the next 18 days, the PPSA will roll out a series of activities to ensure this message is not just heard but lived by every member of the Corps.
We may be separated by islands, but we are connected by a single duty. The PPSA remains one with the nation in building a safe haven for every woman, standing firm in the conviction: ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐.
