The Philippine Public Safety Academy (PPSA) proudly marks the successful conclusion of the first-ever 10-Day Close Quarter Combat (CQC) Skills Training, held from June 9–18, 2025, at the PPSA-NFSTI Compound, Camp Vicente Lim, Calamba City, Laguna, and the BuCor Shooting Range, Muntinlupa City.

Headed by expert instructors from Oro-Trident Training Services, the PPSA Class of 2025 – Jail Cadets actively participated in the intensive course with selected personnel and staff from PPSA, NFSTI, and NJMPTI.

This training was designed to enhance tactical readiness, instill discipline, and develop life-saving decision-making skills in high-risk, close-range scenarios—essential competencies for future BJMP jail officers to uphold the safety and security of custodial facilities and the communities they serve.
