On May 15, 2025, fueled by a shared vision for a greener future, the Philippine Public Safety Academy (PPSA), spearheaded by its Director, JSSUPT LEONALYN O OLOAN, MPSA, joined forces with the local community of Barangay Turbina, Calamba City, for a meaningful tree-planting activity, an initiative for a healthier community through reforestation and environmental conservation.

This endeavor was made possible by PMAJ JOSE A CARPIO (Ret.), Ph.D., in allowing the PPSA to utilize his private lot as a suitable site for the activity.

The team planted a variety of fruit-bearing trees, such as lemon, avocado, langka, and guyabano. This effort went beyond simply adding greenery; it also aimed to strengthen our local resilience against climate change, enrich our biodiversity, and enhance the beauty of our shared environment here in Calamba.

Each tree planted represents a commitment to cleaner air, a more vibrant environment, and a legacy of sustainability for generations to come.
