On June 30, 2025, the KADASIGAYON Class of 2026 successfully presented their proposed Gender and Development (GAD) Strategic Framework for the Philippine Public Safety Academy (PPSA) as part of their requirement for their GAD course.
Under the guidance of their course director, Dr. Rowena S. Navera, the class introduced their formulated Vision, Mission, and Strategic Goals addressing three key sectors of the Academy: the Administration, the Faculty, and the Cadet Corps. These outputs were carefully reviewed and evaluated by a panel of stakeholders, composed of representatives from the different offices in the academy.
This collaborative and purpose-driven initiative reflects the Academy’s strong and sustained commitment to advancing a culture of inclusivity and gender equity, setting a precedent for future leaders in public safety who are not only competent but also gender-responsive and gender-transformative.
