“Tough times don’t last, tough people do.” – Robert M. Gates

November 24, 2023, marked another chapter for the historical blue and gray line as sixty-six (66) strong men and women from the PPSA Class of

2025 MADAYAWLAHI were warmly welcomed to the cadet corps on their 3rd “TION”, the Recognition Rites, together with the Guest of Honor and Speaker, PLTGEN RICARDO F DE LEON (Ret) Ph.D., Director-General of NICA at PNPRO4A Grounds.

It has been more than five months since these sixty-six brave souls took the risk and left their positions, comfort zones, and ventured the journey of cadetship. During these months, they encountered many challenges that tested their competence and character. Being unrecognized cadets, and being in the lowest tier in the ranks of the corps of cadets, they have undergone the rigorous process of being broken and molded anew. Coming from different orientations, cultures, and islands in the country, they came to a common goal of achieving the institution’s core values- Courage, Integrity, and Service.

After having proven themselves as effective followers in their role as underclassmen. They shall show utmost discipline, manifested through structured and organized leadership and character through excellence in education and training. This not only gives hope but also a glimpse of success, as these leaders will soon lead their respective bureaus.

This chapter on their cadetship journey is indeed proof that tough times don’t last, but tough people do.
