The Philippine Public Safety Academy (PPSA) conducted a poster-making contest participated by selected cadets as part of the 18-day Campaign to End Violence Against Women with a theme, “United for a VAW-FREE Philippines.” Cadet 3C Ma. Angela I Zambales and Cadet 3C Christian Paul L Aguba tied for the 1st place, Cadet 3C Jean E Abarquez in 2nd place, and Cadet 3C Mico M Mondia in 3rd place. The cadets were awarded during the Culmination Activity held at Camp Vicente Lim, Calamba, Laguna on December 12, 2022.
Indeed, arts serve as a medium to motivate, give understanding and give meaning to the advocacy we like to deliver. It is one of the best platforms to inform, educate or persuade.
A United VAW-Free PH, hooray!
