Philippine Public Safety Academy (PPSA) Personnel and the Corps of Cadets first iCARE-initiated activity—the iCARE Adopt a Foundation Program

The Philippine Public Safety Academy (PPSA) Personnel and the Corps of Cadets, wrapped up their first iCARE-initiated activity—the iCARE Adopt a Foundation Program—on May 9, 2023, by visiting the Children’s Joy Foundation, Inc. (CJFI) in Canlubang, Calamba, Laguna and providing them with a ton of surprises and fun activities.

The PPSA is adamant that children are the future of our nation. Hence, through the iCARE Adopt a Foundation Program, the institution was able to assist children in need to have better lives and futures.

The Children’s Joy Foundation, Inc. was the chosen foundation of the program. It is a non-profit organization that provides temporary shelter to disadvantaged, neglected, and orphaned children while also supporting their early education and development and laying the groundwork for their future success.

The PPSA iCARE program began with the launching and signing of commitment by the personnel and the cadet officers of the Cadet Corps during the traditional Monday Flag Raising Ceremony on May 08, 2023.

ICARE is PPSC’s Institutional Extension Service Program that intends to connect with the community through a variety of venues to extend help and services in order to create connections, make alliances, spread awareness among people, and offer support.

Under the direction of JSSUPT LEONALYN O OLOAN, Acting Director of PPSA, the academy assures its commitment to support the PPSC’s push to strengthen and continue its extension service and community partnership programs.
