Philippine Public Safety Academy (PPSA) conducts a three-day hybrid webinar workshop titled “Syllabi Formulation: A critical tool in the Development of Effective Instruction”

The Philippine Public Safety Academy (PPSA) conducted a three-day hybrid webinar workshop titled “Syllabi Formulation: A critical tool in the Development of Effective Instruction” on June 30, July 6, and 7, 2023.

The workshop was organized by the PPSA Academic Affairs Division (AAD) and conducted at the PPSC Head Office and via Zoom online platform. The said activity was led by JSSUPT LEONALYN O OLOAN, MPSA, Acting Director of PPSA, together with Mr. Rodney Jagolino, PPSC Chief of Curriculum, and FSUPT MARICELIA L ANTONIO (Ret.) PPSA Dean of Academics.

The resource speakers of the said activity were Dr. Alexander G. Flor, a faculty member of the Information and Communication Studies department at the University of the Philippines Open Open University and a PPSC Fellow, and Dr. Carlo Magno, the Founder of the Center for Learning Assessment-Asia, who shared their invaluable service and expertise. Prof. Joel and Ms. Tessa Yuvienco, the Founders of E-Kindling Inc, also facilitated the workshop.

The second day of the webinar-workshop was graced by PLTGEN RICARDO F DE LEON (Ret) Ph. D., Director General of the National Intelligence Coordinating Agency, together with PBGEN FERDINANDO G SEVILLA, PPSC President, and other guests namely; USEC RICO JUDGE ECHEVERRI, FCSUPT ROMMEL TRADIO, and PSSUPT RANDY MALUYO.

The event was attended by the key personnel and staff from the PPSC head office and its constituent units, officers from the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) and Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), PPSA course directors and professors, as well as the Corps of faculty from other constituent units. The diverse participants added to the richness of the discussions and shared experiences, producing an enriched and comprehensive workshop output.
