Philippine Public Safety Academy (PPSA) conducts a culmination program for the month-long celebration of National Women’s Month

The Philippine Public Safety Academy (PPSA) conducted a culmination program for the month-long celebration of National Women’s Month held at NFSTI Compound, Camp Vicente Lim, Calamba City, Laguna on March 31, 2023, with the Guest Speaker, HON. CHARRISE ANNE “Cha” HERNANDEZ.

HON. CHA is the incumbent and the first female representative of the Lone District of Calamba City. Before her venture as a Congresswoman, she served the City of Calamba as the youngest councilor at the age of 22.

She highlighted during her speech that her goal is to expand the establishment of a baby changing diaper station in public areas and provide all marginalized Filipina women with free sanitary pads by creating a bill. She also emphasized the significant roles played by women in society, particularly by the female cadets who would soon serve as public safety officers.

Further, the activity gave emphasis on women’s empowerment and their significant contribution to society.

“BABAE KA, Hindi Babae Lang!”

Happy National Women’s Month to all ‘Juanas’!
