Fueled by their burning passion and noble purpose, 66 strong men and women took their oath as the new cadets belonging to PPSA Class 2025 during the Oath-Taking Ceremony and Reception Rites held on June 08, 2023, at National Fire Training Institute (NFTI) Grandstand, Camp Vicente Lim, Calamba City, Laguna.
As another milestone etched in the history of the Philippine Public Safety Academy, this significant event graced by no less than the Philippine Public Safety College (PPSC) President, PBGEN FERDINANDO G SEVILLA (Ret) MPSA, is a confirmation of the institution’s untainted commitment in producing new breeds of leaders of the country.
The program’s highlight is the Traditional Reception Rites, the first “TION” of the cadetship journey, where newly conferred cadets hurdled a series of massive exercises to prove their patience and zealous desire to be named Cadets of this prestigious Academy.
True enough, their physical exhaustion, sweat, and tears are rather an affirmation of their solemn promise to embody the core values of this institution toward the path of becoming courageous, value-laden, and competent public safety officers.
