PPSA Logo

The Academy Logo, in the shape of a circle with the Coat of Arms in the middle,  depicts the importance of public safety services in protecting the citizenry and in pursuing the commitment of the Academy according to its mandate, which is to develop the management and leadership qualities and skills of the country’s future public safety officers. Elements of the logo include Philippine Public Safety Academy in full text as the Academy’s identity, and MMXXII or 2022 in Roman numeral form, is the year of establishment of the PPSA. Surrounding the logo is a rope, symbolizing unity and endless dedication to duty, which is set on a background of deep blue color for service in the highest form. Elements in the Coat of Arms are the shield that symbolizes protection of public interests; the sword/kampilan, for bravery and authority; the axe that stands for Fire and Rescue Services while the key and iron cage are for Jail Service; the lamp that illuminates knowledge and professionalism; the red, white and blue color of the Philippine flag stands for Nationalism; the three stars which symbolize the service scope in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. Also on the logo are the text of PPSA’s Core Values of Courage, Integrity, and Service; the acronym PPSA for Philippine Public Safety Academy; a cluster of laurel leaves on each side of the coat of arms that stand for Perseverance and Leadership, with the 17 leaves and 17 laurel fruits representing Regions diverse in culture but unified in attaining government’s goal. All elements are set on a background silver color for simplicity, with the surrounding circle in gold color for royalty.

The roman numeral stands for the founding year of PPSA.

The midnight blue colour is the BFP’s primary colour which symbolizes superiority and grace. It also evokes confidence, supremacy and authority in royalty. The gray colour is the BFP’s primary colour which stands for maturity and responsibility.
