Investiture Rites and Induction of Class Officers of the PPSA SANDIGMANLAYA Class of 2024

“True leaders don’t create followers, they create more leaders.” – Tom Peters

On December 8, 2022, the Investiture Rites and Induction of Class Officers of the Cadet Corps Philippine Public Safety Academy with JSSUPT LEONALYN O OLOAN, Acting Director, PPSA and FSUPT MARICELIA L ANTONIO (Ret), Dean of Academics, PPSA was held at NJMPTI Social Hall, Camp Vicente Lim, Calamba City, Laguna.

A higher stripe is a symbolic representation of an arduous step to demonstrate competent leadership. This is just another stage in exemplifying the appropriate and holistic practices of leading, in accordance with the existing rules and regulations of the Blue and Gray Book (Cadet Guide), for the benefit of the Alma mater, the cadet corps, and the succeeding “New Cadets.”

The PPSA SANDIGMANLAYA Class of 2024 with the presence of their friends, families, and relatives is now formally accorded as “Third Class Cadets”. They will create a path as future “Formators” for their underclassmen’s advancement, enhancement, and development of the upcoming Class of 2025.

Moreover, after six (6) months, the class officers of PPSA SANDIGMANLAYA Class of 2024 having the authority and accountability invite bigger duties and responsibilities. The newly inducted class officers are now expected to demonstrate the utmost characteristics of a servant leader.

The induction of class officers signifies the reliance and confidence that the PPSA formation officers and the corps of cadets entrust in the elected class officers. Bearing the weight of responsibility, they have sworn to give to their duties the best of their abilities. The newly inducted class officers will represent their class for the duration of their cadetship program.

In consonance with the institution’s battle cry, “to lead and serve with courage and integrity”, truly the impacts of these relentless efforts for a better and safer tomorrow stand out and are remarkably seen today.
