As part of Valentine’s celebration of the Philippine Public Safety Academy (PPSA), JSSUPT LEONALYN O OLOAN, MPSA together with the PPSA personnel and cadets, conducted an outreach program at Bahay ni Maria: Home for the Abandoned Elderly and Children with Special Needs on February 17, 2023, at Barangay Sampiruhan, Calamba, Laguna.
The combined efforts of Team PPSA and SANDIGMANLAYA CLASS of 2024, as well as the helping hand and generous hearts from PNPRO-4A, NFSTI, NJMPTI, NFTI, Del Monte Philippines, and other participants during the Zumba for a Cause activity held last February 16, 2023, made it possible for this activity to take place. Proceeds from the event were used to purchase medical equipment, food supplies, and cash intended for their other needs.
Undeniably, the hearts of the Team PPSA were filled with immense joy while witnessing the smiles of the Lolas and sisters during the visit. Seeing them enthusiastically dance and sing love songs was an exceptional display of happiness.
Pure happiness is not expensive. The mere presence of someone who genuinely cares is enough to suffice our hearts with bliss.
Truly, PPSA celebrated Valentine’s Day with love. Thus, our love and care should not only be shown during this month, instead, we should manifest our love every day, not just through words but also through actions.
