To establish a strong and sustained relationship between the Philippine Public Safety Academy (PPSA) and the MOL Magsaysay Maritime Academy (MMMA), the Cadet Corps of the PPSA together with its personnel conducted an institutional visit to MMMA at Brgy. Salitran IV, Dasmariñas City, Cavite on April 26, 2023.
As a premier maritime higher educational institution in the country and the Asia-Pacific region, MMMA showcased its state-of-the-art facilities through a campus tour and shared its best leadership practices. Although coming from different fields, the two academies shared a common vision of developing remarkable leaders through unmatched, progressive, and advanced education built on a culture of excellence and values.
The highlight of the program is the Leadership Seminar given by Dr. Michael C. Morales, Ph.D., MMMA President, parallel to Cadet Corps academic course requirement in Emerging Leadership Theories and Leadership Styles. Emphasizing transformational leadership, PPSA looks forward to bringing positive change to cadets to develop them into highly spirited, value-laden, and excellent public safety leaders.
The said fruitful engagement culminated through various friendly sports competitions participated by the cadets of the two academies, a great opportunity for further flourishing warm friendship and camaraderie.
