On August 27 and 29, 2025, the Philippine Public Safety Academy (PPSA) under the leadership of its Director, JSSUPT LEONALYN O OLOAN, MPSA, successfully conducted a Focus Group Discussion and Consultative Meeting at the PPSC Head Office, Old Balara, Quezon City, facilitated by Dr. Carlo Magno, PPSA Curriculum Advisor, with the active participation of the Subject Matter Experts from the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) led by JCSUPT MA ANNIE A ESPINOSA, Director for Human Resource Development and Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) represented by FSSUPT RANDOLPH V BIDES, Deputy Director of Training Service, together with the representatives from PPSC and PPSA.
With the support of the Philippine Public Safety College (PPSC) team headed by PBGEN VERT T CHAVEZ, MPSA, Vice President for Academics, this meaningful activity became a vital space for sharing insights, strengthening collaboration, and aligning strategies—all toward the continuous enhancement of PPSA’s academic programs as it transitions to a four-year curriculum.
