The unpredictable weather will never defeat an unwavering passion to play. The female cadets of the Philippine Public Safety Academy proved this as a friendly match of basketball and volleyball games was played between the upperclass and the underclass on November 30, 2023, at the National Fire Training Institute Volleyball and Basketball Court.
The games were one of the academy’s activities for the 18-day Campaign for a VAW-free Philippines. These games not only develop the spirit of sportsmanship among female cadets but also build camaraderie as they play for one goal and that is to empower each other.
Together, let’s make change for women!
