In celebration of the Day of Valor, the Philippine Public Safety Academy held “Musikagitingan” – a moving tribute to heroism through music, theater, and film.
From the heartfelt serenades of the Cadet Combo to the powerful performances in the musical play “Valor: A 9th to Remember,” the event honored the courage and sacrifice of our Filipino heroes who paved the way for our nation’s freedom.
The event was graced by the Commandant of Cadets, JCINSP MARK ANTHONY S SAQUING, who delivered an inspiring message emphasizing the purpose of the celebration: to uplift the spirit of patriotism and instill cultural appreciation within the Cadet Corps.
The evening concluded with the screening of a Filipino film commemorating the bravery and ultimate sacrifice of the fallen SAF 44 heroes, reminding all in attendance of the real price of peace and freedom.
More than a commemoration, this event stands as a call to action and a reminder to live by the core values that define every public safety officer: Courage, to face any challenge in the name of duty; Integrity, to uphold truth and honor; and Service, to dedicate oneself to the nation selflessly.
