The Director for Human Resource and Development of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), JSSUPT BRENDAN O FULGENCIO, conducted a lecture on Values Clarification and Financial Literacy to the personnel and cadets of the Philippine Public Safety Academy on July 26, 2022, at Rizal Hall, Camp Vicente Lim, Calamba, Laguna.
He discussed that values are deep-seated personal standards, and knowing one’s values helps an individual to focus on what is important. Cadets acknowledged the importance of values in decision-making that will eventually define their identity.
The afternoon discussion focused on Financial Literacy in which JSSUPT FULGENCIO recognized that it is important for cadets to be able to manage their finances well. At the same time, they can also educate their future subordinates on how to manage their finances.
