With the theme “Fostering Camaraderie, Igniting Leadership, and Exemplifying Sportsmanship for Stronger Bond and Unified Action,” the Philippine Public Safety Academy (PPSA) culminated this year’s five-day Intramural Games in an Awarding Ceremony held at National Jail Management and Penology Training Institute (NJMPTI) Hall on October 23, 2024.

After all the sports events were played by the competing platoons, Bravo Company 1ST Platoon emerged as the Overall Champion garnering a total point of 1145, followed by the Alfa Company 1ST Platoon as 1ST Runner-Up with 1090 points. Moreover, Bravo Company 2ND Platoon snatched the 2ND Runner-Up with 1030 points, and finally, Alfa Company 2ND Platoon landed the 3RD Runner-Up spot with 670 points.

Another highlight of the event is the Platoon Cheerdance Competition where each team showcased their jaw-dropping dance routines and extraordinary chants. With their flawless dance performance and amazing stunts, Bravo Company 2ND Platoon dominated the dance floor as they bagged the Best in Choreography, Best in Yell and Chant, and Best in Costume which made them hailed this year’s Cheerdance Champion. Alfa Company 1ST Platoon was declared 1ST Runner-Up while the Bravo Company 1ST Platoon landed 2ND Runner-Up and also received the Best in Costume. The 3RD Runner-Up was then given to Alfa Company 2ND Platoon.

Meanwhile, the event ended in an Acoustic Night led by the Cadet Combo and participated by the Corps of Cadets.

Through this yearly activity, PPSA strengthens its commitment to providing the cadets a holistic development by promoting both physical fitness and fostering a strong sense of sportsmanship, camaraderie, and leadership.
