February 02, 2026 | The Philippine Public Safety Academy (PPSA) held its 𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗡𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗥 𝗢𝗙 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗠𝗔𝗡𝗗, welcoming its new Director, 𝐅𝐒𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐎𝐋𝐏𝐇 𝐕 𝐁𝐈𝐃𝐄𝐒, at Camp Vicente Lim, Brgy. Mayapa, Calamba City, Laguna.
The ceremony was graced by 𝐏𝐁𝐆𝐄𝐍 𝐅𝐄𝐑𝐃𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐎 𝐆 𝐒𝐄𝐕𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐀 (𝐑𝐞𝐭.), 𝐃𝐏𝐒𝐒𝐆, President of Philippine Public Safety College (PPSC). He challenged the new administration to uphold the legacy of the former Director, 𝐉𝐂𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐋𝐄𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐋𝐘𝐍 𝐎 𝐎𝐋𝐎𝐀𝐍, who built the Academy from scratch into an institution producing morally upright, disciplined, and community-responsive public safety officers who can adapt to the fast-paced environment of the Bureaus.
FSSupt Bides pledged to sustain the implementation of strategic and impactful plans and programs for the Academy, building upon the strong foundation established by the previous leadership. The Cadet Corps Philippine Public Safety Academy (CCPPSA) stands united, firmly placing its trust in his leadership and commitment to the shared pursuit of excellence and service.
