In a display of institutional unity and pride, the Philippine Public Safety Academy (PPSA) and the National Jail Management and Penology Training Institute (NJMPTI), under the umbrella of the Philippine Public Safety College (PPSC), successfully conducted a 𝐉𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭 𝐓𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰. This time-honored tradition served to formally recognize and celebrate the promotion to Star Rank of 𝐉𝐂𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐭 𝐑𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐝𝐨 𝐌 𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐨𝐜 (Director, NJMPTI) and 𝐉𝐂𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐭 𝐋𝐞𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐲𝐧 𝐎 𝐎𝐥𝐨𝐚𝐧 (Director, PPSA).
Graced by PPSC President, 𝐏𝐁𝐆𝐄𝐍 𝐅𝐄𝐑𝐃𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐎 𝐆 𝐒𝐄𝐕𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐀 (𝐑𝐞𝐭.) DPSSG, as Guest of Honor and Speaker, the ceremony highlighted the profound weight and responsibility that come with the star rank. His presence served as a powerful endorsement of the honorees’ dedication while offering a tangible inspiration to the Cadet Corps, reminding every aspiring leader that the pinnacle of public safety service is reached through unyielding integrity and excellence.
Adding warmth to the solemn occasion was the presence of the honorees’ families, who stood proudly beside them. In their messages of gratitude, the Directors emphasized that “𝘯𝘰 𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘬 𝘯𝘰𝘳 𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘨𝘯𝘪𝘢 𝘪𝘴 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘢𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘥 𝘣𝘺 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘰𝘯 𝘢𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘦.” They attributed their success to the collective effort of their teams and loved ones, reminding everyone that “𝘩𝘶𝘮𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘣𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘶𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘤𝘦𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘬 𝘯𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥.”
To cap off the day, a Testimonial Dinner was hosted after the parade. Personnel and cadets from PPSC, PPSA, and NJMPTI joined the honorees and their families for an evening of camaraderie and thanksgiving.
As the night concluded, one message remained clear: The stars on their shoulders do not just represent their achievement but a guiding light for the next generation of public safety officers.
