July 9, 2025 – The Philippine Public Safety Academy (PPSA) proudly held its ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐๐ง๐๐๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ญ ๐๐ฑ๐๐ซ๐๐ข๐ฌ๐๐ฌ for the MADAYAWLAHI Class of 2025 at the Tejeros Hall, Armed Forces of the Philippines Commissioned Officers’ Country Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City which was graced by the Executive Secretary of the Office of the President, ๐ฅ๐๐ง. ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐ง๐๐๐ ๐๐จ๐๐๐ฆ ๐ฃ ๐๐๐ฅ๐ฆ๐๐ ๐๐ก, who served as the Guest of Honor and Speaker.
Following two (2) years of cadetship, 67 graduates marched forward to join the officer corps of public safety. Among them, 37 cadets earned the degree of Bachelor of Science in Fire Protection Administration (BSFPA) and are set to join the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), while 30 cadets were conferred the degree of Bachelor of Science in Penology and Corrections Administration (BSPCA) and will serve as new officers in the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP). Notably, all these graduates were formerly non-commissioned officers of the BFP and BJMP with the ranks of FO1/FO2 and JO1/JO2 prior to entering the academy.
Leading the MADAYAWLAHI Class of 2025 is ๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐, the class valedictorian. A licensed Civil Engineer from Meycauayan, Bulacan, he holds a degree in Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. Driven by a desire to lead and serve with courage and integrity, he pursued cadetship to dedicate his expertise towards protecting lives and property as a committed fire officer.

Following the ceremony, the ๐๐จ๐ง๐ง๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ข๐ง๐ง๐ข๐ง๐ ๐จ๐ ๐๐๐ง๐ค๐ฌ was held with the officers from both bureaus. It is a symbolic moment where family members and loved ones formally place the rank insignias on the graduatesโ uniforms, marking their official transition from cadets to full-fledged officers of the uniformed service.
As these graduates leave the halls of the academy and step into the field, they carry not only their hard-earned degrees but also the values of courage, integrity, and service instilled in them by the PPSA as guardians of public trust.
